The legendary Bassjackers have teamed up with Breathe Carolina and REEZ on a huge new club track, ‘Marco Polo’. The buildup features a huge melodic synth pattern and then is topped with the words ‘Marco Polo’ repeating throughout, leading smoothly into the drop. This original has an Egyptian-like feel to it and is absolutely massive. ‘Marco Polo’ combines Breathe Carolina and REEZ’s signature progressive house sound with Bassjackers’ signature electro/progressive house vibe. This one has club and festival banger written all over it so surely you’ll hear it when you’re rockin’ out on the dancefloor the next few months!
Bassjackers have been a household name in dance music for several years now. They’ve produced everything from dirty dutch to dubstep house, and now today mostly electro/progressive house. They’ve collaborated with Afrojack, MAKJ, Showtek, KSHMR, R3HAB, Showtek, and Dyro to name a few. Martin Garrix even made an edit of their single ‘Crackin’. So far they’ve had two releases in 2016 – ‘SPCMN’ with Crossnaders, which they released as a free download, and ‘On The Floor Like’ with MOTi and Joe Ghost. Beside their Vegas residency at Light Nightclub/Daylight Beach Club, Bassjackers also have a 2016 residency at Drais Beachclub.
2015 and 2016 have been monumental for U.S.-based trio, Breathe Carolina. Towards the end of 2015 they had releases on Armada, Enhanced Recordings, and Spinnin’ Records. Show-wise they also performed at Ultra Miami and EDC Vegas. In March they dropped a new single with legendary gypsy pop artist, Neon Hitch. Their latest single, a collaboration with Blasterjaxx called ‘Soldier’, has reached nearly 2 million views on Soundcloud and YouTube in under a month.
The Dutch duo known as REEZ have been making a name for themselves in dance music the last year. First they scored an official remix for Dash Berlin and John Dahlback’s ‘Never Let You Go’ and then they did a remix of Bassjacker’s ‘Savior’ with KSHMR. More recently they collaborated with Bassjackers on ‘Rough’, which released on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom. They also scored an official remix for The Chainsmokers and Tritonal’s song, ‘Until You Were Gone’. Their latest original, ‘Bottles Up’, was featured on Revealed Recordings’ Miami Sampler compilation. The rest of 2016 is looking bright for this duo.
